PRIVACY AT A GLANCE

AP Shift stores character sheets, notes, encounter information, dice appearance settings, and roll history on your device. The app does not require an account and does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking.

YOUR DATA

AP Shift does not operate a server that receives or stores your character information. Your data is stored locally. You can choose to export a backup or share a character file; operating-system backups and cloud-synced folders may also create copies as described below.

On iOS and Android, when you use Export Backup or Share, your device's share sheet sends the selected JSON file only to the destination you choose. When you use Restore Backup or Import Character, AP Shift reads only the file you select.

On Windows, Export Backup and Share use a Save dialog to save the JSON file to the location you choose. Character summaries can also be saved as text files. Restore Backup and Import Character use an Open dialog, and AP Shift reads only the file you select. Saving a file does not automatically send it to another player.

Depending on your device settings, your operating system or a cloud-storage provider may back up app data or synchronize files saved in folders such as OneDrive or iCloud Drive. Those services are controlled by your settings and their providers' privacy policies. AP Shift itself does not provide automatic cloud synchronization between devices.

UNOFFICIAL COMPANION

AP Shift is an independent tabletop-gaming utility. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or licensed by any game publisher, comic-book publisher, or other rights holder.

Any third-party names or trademarks belong to their respective owners. Users should consult and own any rulebooks or other source material needed for their game.

TERMS OF USE

AP Shift provides calculations, character organization, and table aids for personal tabletop play. It is provided as-is, without a guarantee that every calculation or interpretation will fit every table's rules.

The game master and players make the final decisions about rules, outcomes, and use at the table.

THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE

AP Shift is built with open-source software, including Expo and React Native, and Electron for the Windows desktop app. Those projects and their contributors retain their respective rights under their applicable licenses.
